When
you schedule an inspection with Hergert Inspection, I will
be the inspector on the job. I have over 12 years experience
as a Home Inspector and 25 years (prior) experience as a
homebuilder. I have been a Seattle area resident all of my
life and am a graduate from the University of Puget Sound. I
am a licensed Washington State Home Inspector and Structural
Pest Inspector. Other certifications include the National
Association of Certified Home Inspectors (Nachi) and the
Infrared Training Institute.
Prior to becoming a
licensed Home Inspector, I was a builder of over 250 homes
and developed building lots throughout Washington State.
Homes have ranged from manufactured homes and entry level
site built homes to luxury homes. With my construction
experience came the knowledge of how a home is built,
quality control, and problem solving. I also know how to
explain the significance and possible solutions to most
issues that may arise in the Home Inspection.
My home inspection
experience includes homes of all sizes, ages, and values.
During my 12 year + experience, I have inspected several
thousand properties throughout the Seattle-Everett-Tacoma
metropolitan area.
